Sketchbook magazine is the most effective case study conducted by agency Obai & Hill, the result of the campaign has been one of the most creative and cost effective digital, print, design, commision of the year.

Obai & Hill has pioneered the Sketchbook magazine campaign since the launch of Sketchbook in October 2009. Consisting of writers, illustrators, stylists, photographers and designers, Sketchbook magazine was soon established as London's fastest growing illustration magazine.

Obai & Hill supplied Sketchbook with a team of graphic designers, writers and web geniuses to create clear, well-designed website where readers can purchase copies of the magazine, be transferred to the blog and read back issues of the publication online.

For Sketchbook readers and contributors twitter is more than just a social networking site, it is an online hub of communication used by Obai & Hill to increase the Sketchbook network and create an interactive community between contributors and readers alike.

As an illustration based magazine, one of Sketchbook's foremost priorities is the promotion of up-and-coming illustrators; Obai & Hill recruit illustrators from across the globe to be featured in one of London's leading Illustration magazines.

Sketchbook's debut issue's content was created by Obai & Hill, the issue paid homage to fashion bloggers, featuring 49 interviews with established fashion bloggers from all corners of the globe. The issue received a warm welcome from the international blogosphere and was critically acclaimed for creating an issue entirely dedicated to fashion bloggers.

Sketchbook's much anticipated second issue was devoted to promoting British fashion designers, featuring Matthew Williamson, Paul Smith, David David, Luella, Burberry and Genger & Mayer. Obai & Hill provided the entire content for the issue.

Obai & Hill has a database of more than 3,000 PR contacts that support the work of the agency and our clients. The international database varies from print publications to digital media, each of whom has built an amicable relationship with the agency over its tenure.

Sketchbook magazine worked in collaboration with Sister PR to organise a succesful pop-up venue in London's fashionable Carnaby Street. The venue's guest list exceeded 6,000 visitors eager to be a part of the numerous events which Sketchbook played host to.

As well as recruiting Illustrators to be featured in Sketchbook magazine, Obai & Hill also curated exhibitions featuring the work of Sketchbook's chief Illustrators, Annie Driscoll and Jean-Paul Thurlow.
